Us
Groovestand is Syracuse
University’s premier co-ed a cappella group. Founded
in 2000, the group has performed at dozens of events, held
numerous concerts, recorded CD’s, and won several
awards in past ICCA competitions. Featuring only the most
professional and talented singers on campus, Groovestand
doesn’t just sing, we perform.
Past Awards:
- Groovestand advanced to the semifinals at Rutgers University in the 2007 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA)
- Outstanding Soloist: Tinuke Oyefule for “Thank You”
- Outstanding Vocal Percussion: Andrew Kurman
